Due to the magnetic power of the MRI, no metal of any kind is permitted in the MRI suite. This includes jewelry, zippers, snaps, buttons, hair accessories, hearing aids, metal fragments, implanted devices, body piercings and more.​

 

Prior to your appointment, you will receive instructions on how to prepare for the procedure including any changes required to your diet and regular medication schedule.

Following your MRI scan, a board certified radiologist will interpret the images and send a report to your physician.
