What To Expect
Pre-Procedure
Upon your arrival, you'll be asked about your health history and may need to change into a hospital gown to ensure clear images during your scan.

Although we use X-ray radiation to obtain high-quality imaging, we've put stringent measures in place to minimize your radiation exposure. Our advanced equipment and protocols are designed to keep your radiation dose as low as possible while still providing clear, detailed images for your accurate diagnosis.
During the Exam
You'll be positioned on a cushioned table that moves into the scanner. An IV or oral contrast (FDA-approved compound) may be required to highlight certain areas of your body structures, making it easier for our radiologists to distinguish between normal and abnormal conditions.
Time Frame
A CT scan generally takes between 5 and 20 minutes.
How Do I Prepare?
Preparation varies depending on the type of scan.
If you wear a medical device that can’t be radiated, it will need to be removed or turned off prior to the exam.
You may be asked to fast or avoid certain medications. Rest assured, we'll provide you with specific instructions before your appointment.
