On the day of your mammogram, please do not use any deodorant, creams, perfumes or powders on or near your breast area. No other preparation is required.

If your appointment is for a diagnostic mammogram or other breast imaging, you my receive special instructions to prepare for your exam.

Following your mammogram, a radiologist specializing in breast imaging will interpret the images and send a report to your physician. You will also receive a copy of the results.
